An Established UK Pub Operator

The Pub People Company own and operate an established estate of high quality food and drink pubs in and around Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Lincoln.

All of our pubs are operated by self-employed licensees with dedicated support systems from our head office located near Alfreton in Derbyshire.

We are committed to using local suppliers for our drinks and food. Many of our pubs stock cask ales that are brewed locally and our fresh meat is from farms in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The Company is structured to support the pubs operationally. We have experienced managers in Catering Development, Marketing, Property, as well as a Business Development Manager allocated to each pub, and a Helpdesk to aid the internal operation of our pubs.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE: You have a clear idea of what is required to run a business and a drive to make your pub succeed

Where you will find us

Our pubs are a mix of community, destination food and those in town or city centres. Pub People Company actually own the majority of their pubs and although we do rent some from larger pub companies, the strategy is to purchase more freehold properties, giving the Company, licensees and employees more security.

All of the pubs have high quality domestic accommodation which receive power from the pub’s main utility provider at no charge.

Each pub is treated as an individual business, not a brand, which means that you can develop your business along the lines that is appropriate for the local market. Clearly, our experienced operations team will have an input to the direction of the pub but you will also be able to make judgements strategically and on a day to day basis.

Retaining an individual image for each pub is important for growing their reputation locally.
